â€Å"Sociology is the study of human social relationships and institutions† (Department of Sociology, 2016). Figueroa’s Framework, created by Professor Peter Figueroa is used to look at issues that concern access and equity in sport at different levels (Yr 12 Physical Education Board, 2015). Figueroa’s Framework is separated into five levels: individual, interpersonal, institutional, structural and cultural (Yr 12 Physical Education Board, 2015). This multimodal presentation will provide an in-depth comprehension of different terminologies and concepts through a use of multi modes of presentation. There will be insightful analysis of attitudes concerning dance and effective selection of sociological concepts affecting participation in dance. Justified solution will be made to enhance dance participation using Figueroa’s Framework. The first level of Figueroa’s Framework is the individual level which focuses on the individual. The individual level focuses on personal beliefs, values, behaviour and the opportunities to access the sport (Kiss, Rasi, Kleoudis, Stewart, 2010). People gain their beliefs through socialisation which is when a person establishes their beliefs and values throughout their life (Kiss et al., 2010). Because of this people will most likely have similar beliefs to their family, friends or the media. Even though this Is to be based on an average high school, I believe at times they showed an unrealistic portrayal on students and teachers with some of their actions in this movie. Which is nothing wrong with that, but what happens is the teachers makes a comment on her wearing sweats, telling her she needs to Join the rest of the girls, by wearing shorts. Otherwise, by her not following these instructions, it would lead to a drop in her marks. Michelle to me seems like an insecure girl, not wanting to show her body off. And no school I feel would make girls who are insecure about their body have to feel uncomfortable by wearing shorts, Just because every other girl in class was confident and wears shorts. I also found this movie made students look stupid, making them so oblivious to what was happening around them. As the two boys enter the school, stalking around the halls with those massive guns In their hands, you see not one student scream or even notice what was happening. Especially in the library which was full of kids, one of the boys marched right in, gun in the air, and it takes for him o actually shoot it after awhile for anyone to scream or run. Not to mention how as the shooting starts, students weren’t even running out of the school. In so many of the scenes when you see students running away they completely ignore the doors as if they weren’t even there. They Just run past or go up the stairs. This song truly describes my life, and how Im living the good life. Even when things may seem to be going rough, or not my way, I know that it could be much worse than my little, tiny problem. Recently, 30 U.S. soldiers were shot down from a helicopter in Afghanistan, serving our country. I cant even imagine what their families are going through right now. Millions of teens have divorced parents, single parents, or even none at all. This song shows me how lucky I really am. Compared to many people in this world, I really am living the Good Life.
